The Receptionist has a passion to provide excellent customer service. Individual must be high energy, polished, and poised with outstanding communication, people skills, and have a great attitude. The Receptionist will be responsible for answering questions of callers, directing callers to the correct person, greeting customers and referring them to the proper person to handle their requests. The Receptionist will professionally and pleasantly interact with a variety of customers and employees and will strive to ensure that all callers and all customers are treated in the same professional and pleasant manner.
Answers all incoming phone calls and directs all customers of PDI during normal operating hours.
Expeditiously receives all incoming telephone calls and directs caller to appropriate person which may include other branches.
Greets all customers in courteous fashion and directs the customer to the appropriate person in a cheerful and helpful manner.
Answers all phone calls with courtesy; builds good relations with the customers, and exhibits cheerful, cooperative attitude at all times.
Must act in a professional manner at all times.
Acts in a positive manner that inspires the department and all employees to have a cheerful and cooperative attitude.
Reviews all material related to PDI in order to learn more about the company which will enable receptionist to better help the customer.
Keeps manager informed of the phone system and whether it is working properly.
Maintains knowledge of and becomes proficient with all office equipment.
Performs administrative work to support any of the Showroom Sales departments as needed which includes open order reports, picture books, customer follow-up and other tasks as assigned.
Helps maintain registration log of showroom customers and in/out log in of employees.
Keeps reception and lobby area neat at all times.
Maintains a cooperative spirit with a positive attitude and helps keep the team relationship among all PDI personnel.
Assists any PDI staff as needed
Performs other duties as assigned; and
Receptionist is expected to fulfill the above guidelines, cooperate with all PDI associates, and contribute to the TEAM SPIRIT
High school diploma or equivalent required. Candidate must have good communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.
Job requires 8-10 hours of sitting with scheduled breaks.
